The focus of OffSeason in March is going to be the daily walks, Spyro Anemogiannis will be leading a majority of them, his knowledge of the island and it’s paths are second to none and I’m sure you will enjoy the stories along the way! In preparation paths are being cleared, Helen, Kate, Carol and Simon amongst others have been giving their time and lots of energy to ensure that they are ready.
A few words from Helen:
Paxos is the most beautiful island for walks. Breathtaking scenery, quiet olive groves, amazing flora and fauna and the odd donkey to be found.
A group of volunteers has undertaken to clearing some of the footpaths which have become overgrown, so that everyone can continue to enjoy the footpaths. We are currently clearing the path from Mousmouli Bay to Tripitos Arch on the west coast. This path is probably the most spectacular path on the island, with great views over towards the Greek Sterna, Antipaxos, and Lefkada and Ithaka.
Mousmouli Bay
This will be one of the walks during off season Paxos fortnight, not to be missed!
